So, uh yesterday was reported by Yahoo! Australia to be the world's hottest day of all time.
Friederike Otto, a German climate scientist based in Britain, was quoted (in the above news article) to say that this is a "death sentence for people and ecosystems", and that we should expect more records to be broken in the coming months/years, in a negative way.
Well, shit. Better save up for the a/c and fans people. Hotter days lie ahead.
