Has anyone checked this one out? Any thoughts?
I'm a few episodes in and I like the premise but I'm not sure on the execution yet. Seems like it could almost be awesome but falls a bit short.
I can't quite put my finger on why that is though.

I see. I'm only on episode 8 because I'm a filthy dub watcher, but I kind of see what you're talking about. It picked up for me after episode 4. I kind of like that it hasn't been completely predictable, but at the same time it does seem like it needs a little more polish and cohesion to the plot.

Had high hopes for it before it began airing, but gave up yesterday after ep 10.
I love the visuals so much, the art, character designs, overall aesthetic, etc, is awesome, but... Narita really isn't my kind of writer. I don't care for the characters, the main plot seems kinda like it was forgotten about by ep 2 in favor of all kinds of side stories, humor feels awkward and forced, everything feels really chaotic and hard to follow, and nothing ever really seems to happen.
