Rules on AI content

3 years ago by AlternativeBrick to c/harrypotternsfw

First of all, sorry for this meta post. I know this is not what people are here for. I just think this topic needs to be discussed and afaik it hasn't been yet.

I migrated here from Reddit, and the NSFW Harry Potter subreddit was (is?) really suffering under heavy AI spam. Fortunately that does not seem to be an issue here.

However I'm worried it will be eventually. I suggest making clear, strict and easily enforceable rules concerning AI generated content, as currently there doesn't seem to be any.

For instance clearly labeling in the title that the content is AI generated, limit the amount of AI posts allowed pr user pr day, or only allow to post on certain weekdays.

I agree, this has been a large issue on Reddit and it will be heavily restricted here. Once more people start posting I'll revise the rules.

Things that are not safe for work from the Harry Potter Universe

Rules

  1. Properly title & format your post. All titles are required to include the name of the artist or cosplayer in brackets. Include character names when possible to enable easier searching. The generally recommended format for titles is: Character(s) any additional words (artist/cosplayer)

  2. No Reposts before 90 days. To keep it fresh, don't post anything that has already been posted in the last 3 months. Additionally, if something is already in the top 100 of all time, do not post it again.

  3. Vaguely Harry Potter Content. Posts that are merely an attractive person wearing or posing with some harry potter merch in not allowed here.
