NOTICE TO PORN COMMUNITIES, PLEASE SET AN NSFW FLAG ON YOUR POSTS, thank you

use an nsfw flag if you're posting porn, please

i, and probably many others as well would not like porn to randomly appear on our homepage, this is nothing personal, but forcing porn on people is not right, I understand that many are new to lemmy/kbin so they might not have seen the option to flag posts as NSFW, but please edit your posts now that you know and apply it

Thank you

How do i do this?

Half my time here's spent looking for un-NSFW'd posts in my communities (specifically this one, nobody posts in the other) and telling people to NSFW their posts. At this point I don't think I actually fapped to anything in ths entire instance yet.

The admins are trying their best getting the situation under control by modifying Lemmy, but as mods all we can do is to remind posters when they forget. And the Lemmy devs seem to have shot down the idea of giving mods edit rights. You can go through my comment history for the link to the GitHub issue.

Welcome to the LemmyNSFW home of AI generated images and (for the wizards that can make them) animations of both the anime and realistic nature.

If you're here to share resources & ask questions, please use the stickied discussion thread for that.

Remember to mark your posts as NSFW.

Rules

Just don't be a dick, really
No depictions of celebrities and other actual living people.
- Without explicit and verifiable consent
Consider sharing your prompts. Not required, but it's nice, y'know
- Lemmy will strip out the prompt data from images. Consider either uploading somewhere else (Like catbox.moe) or manually pasting the data into the body before posting
No disturbingly inaccurate "body horror" generations
No advertising of any kind.

And of course, remember to follow LemmyNSFW's rules (duh)
