Troubleshooting Request

3 years ago by JCSpark to c/3dprinting

Hey folks! I've been getting some odd results on my Ender 5 prints lately. It looks like the filament isn't extruding in a regular pattern. Would someone like the offer some input on why this might be? I'd appreciate any assistance, thank you.

Do you have on of those plastic extruder? If so, check for a crack (dismantle to check everywhere).

Could also be wrong estep (take Bowden off, cut filament after extruder, extrude 10cm and mesure to see if accurate)

Or maybe a partial clog.

Also check your flow settings in slicer.

Came to pile on the partial clog idea, try a cold pull/nozzle needling and see if that clears it up!
