Tyson Fury: 'I received an offer from the UFC' to face Jon Jones in a 'hybrid fight'
3 years ago by someguyontheinternet to c/mma
Apparently UFC president Dana White wasn’t kidding: He really wants to make a fight between Tyson Fury and Jon Jones.
Fury wasn't having his kneecaps reversed or going to sleep with Bones' bony arms around his throat, or even getting out of bed for this one, for under $100 million.
I don't expect he was driven to ensure it happened in any case.
Having said that, as respecting of Fury as I am for his overcoming mental health problems and reclaiming the heavyweight crown, the third fight with Derek Chisora tells me Fury's career end legacy has only been a money grab.

Interesting. Pretty sure this might turn out much like DJ vs Rodtang did: One round JBJ is backing up and being skittish, and in the next Fury's getting ragdolled.
