Phoenix can offer a trade package of Deandre Ayton and Landry Shamet to Washington for Bradley Beal, but it’s believed a Chris Paul, Shamet deal is what it would take if Beal chose to force his way to the Suns via his no-trade clause, league sources tell @NBAonTNT

I don't understand why the Washington Wizards would accept either of these trades . They just don't make sense. Like what are the Wizards gonna do with Ayton and Kristaps. And in what world are they going to accept an ageing player who is well past being able to play like a superstar and a decent bench player for a star who is in his prime. It just doesn't make sense in my opinion.

I've heard rumors of them also trying to move Kristaps and go into a true tank. They're never going to be good enough with this core, so while they should have done this two years ago (and before a no trade clause was given) it's probably the right direction for them
