Will there be a pro version without in-app purchase like there was before? If I could avoid the in-app purchase I'd prefer it. There where weekly threads on Reddit when the in-app version failed to work correctly and I never had any problem with the pro version.

I'm the same. Long long time user and was happy to pay for the app but a subscription isn't going to happen as it's complete overkill.
Very disappointed but I guess I'm staying with thunder.
