[META] 7k subscribers - Call for Mods
3 years ago by dystop to c/maliciouscompliance
So in just one week, we’ve grown to >7k subscribers (~5.3k on lemmy.world and ~1.2k from the next 5 largest instances), which is way more than I expected.
I've been modding this community alone, and it's been fine - we haven't had many issues so far - but I should start looking for mods before any issues arise.
If you have an interest in modding, please message me or comment below, and I'll reach out to you!
EDIT: thanks everyone who responded, I've got enough responses now!
I am willing to put in the absolute minimum, if not nonexistent amount of effort into this job, while at the same time taking the maximum amount of credit for how well the whole thing is running.
Name checks out
This method reminds me of someone but I can't put my finger on it.
@lemmy.world
People conforming to the letter, but not the spirit, of a request. For now, this includes text posts, images, videos and links. Please ensure that the “malicious compliance” aspect is apparent - if you’re making a text post, be sure to explain this part; if it’s an image/video/link, use the “Body” field to elaborate.
======
We ENCOURAGE posts about events that happened to you, or someone you know.
We ACCEPT (for now) reposts of good malicious compliance stories (from other platforms) which did not happen to you or someone you knew. Please use a [REPOST] tag in such situations.
We DO NOT ALLOW fiction, or posts that break site-wide rules.

I am ready and more than eager to accept this position of power, if only to go mad with the power acquired.
I am willing to put in the absolute minimum, if not nonexistent amount of effort into this job, while at the same time taking the maximum amount of credit for how well the whole thing is running.
This is my bid for one of the mod positions.
