Support For The Sega Dreamcast's Web Browser Has Ended After 25 Years
8 months ago by misk to c/retrocomputing
The thing about older browsers is that they don’t support new cryptography which is required by pretty much all modern websites. For some reason Google kept this legacy version of their Search going (probably forgot it existed) but now the only alternative are search engine frontends tailored specifically to obsolete hardware (which thankfully exist thanks to retro community).
Use http://frogfind.de/ or https://wiby.org/ to search using old browsers.

Headline is wrong. Google pulled support for some older browsers off it's sites I guess?
