I think this is a good time to remind everyone that it isn't just girls. I think they're hiding this because it's probably more unacceptable in the maga universe because it's tied to their own people being gay if it's done to little boys too? The catholic church tries to hide that it's not just boys, because then they can blame it on just the evil gays doing this when it's been a thing for centuries.
Never forget that the vatican hired a spin doctor from Fox News to run their pr department in Italy.
