What are some fads you wish would come back?

I'm mostly trying to think of mostly benign or positive fads, even if they might have inspired some folks to do wacky or dangerous things on the extreme edges of the fad. I'm thinking stuff like beanie babies or bedazzling stuff.

I personally want to see some of the fashion fads from the 70's come back, like bell-bottoms.

Honestly, maybe one that is a little weird, but I really miss the junkfood of the 90's and the advertising and aesthetic surrounding it.

I have a pair of bell bottoms that I bought last year and they're my favorite pair of jeans. They're definitely making a comeback.

I splurged on some FreePeople low-rise bell bottom jeans. It was so worth it lol. Looks great in a pair of Converse, flip flops, kitten heels. Switch out your crossbody for a small shoulder bag. It feels like such a throwback. :p

Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
