Lewisham's Model Market 'set to reopen this year' as shopping centre impasse goes on

Lewisham’s Model Market is on track to reopen later this year, its new operator has said, even though the site is still sitting empty months after it was first supposed to have opened its gates.

The model market was pleasant to have open once more.

It's a shame it never stayed as it originally was with the Record shop that used to blare out wonderful Reggae music and the knick knack shops.

While it was nice to have the area open again, I found the food markets and beers a little too poncy - like in a 'looking like a Whoreditch shithole and charging you twice the price' sort of way.
