Yeah, what a bunch of nuts! It's only crazies that want some reasonable semblance of privacy in the digital aspect of their lives.
What's the worst the could happen? It's not like data breaches, blackmail, or doxxing are regular things. Everyone on this planet is compassionate and sane -- bad actors that would use someone's personal information to hurt them don't exist.
There is a disturbing amount of "but mah data" pearl clutching by a lot of very ignorant people in this thread.
