Community request - Australia

Wondering if there's value in an Australia wide community as well? Some stuff just doesn't fit so well under 1 city

There are a bunch across the Lemmy verse. Here is one https://exploding-heads.com/c/australia

Sort of a shame Lemmy does not have a merge function where an instance could merge all the communities on the same subject together

Yeah I'm hoping that comes soon, user manageable merge lists so I can deal with nice.place/c/Australia and fun.people/c/Australia but not echo.chamber/c/Australia
