Very nice, but for some reason the depth looks reversed to me no matter what I do

It sounds like you are using the Parallel viewing technique instead of the cross-eyed viewing technique. I have never been able to do the parallel view but the cross-eyed view is automatic for me.

A way to see 3D images without special screens or glasses. Just cross your eyes to overlap the two images.
