AFAIK, it's just a term for that kind of drone and the way it delivers its explosive payload. I've seen official outlets refer to them as suicide drones as well. Maybe Self-Destructing Drone would be a more proper term?
I would have preferred two touchpads, but the fact that they're including one already sets them leagues ahead of the rest of the Steam Deck's competition in the handheld PC market.
With how useful the touchpads are on the Steam Deck for navigating a desktop interface, I can't imagine using a device without them.
Love my PineTime.
Pros: Cheap, open source, reliable, several days of battery life per charge
Cons: Limited feature set when compared to more expensive smart watches, unused hardware features (for now), painfully slow development cycle
...no? It honestly has more to do with ego than anything, and I say that as somebody who currently works in the game industry. It's shocking how out of touch some developers can be when it comes to delivering a product that the players want, especially when those developers hold actual positions of power over the rest of the team (directing and managerial roles).
If you have an old phone you're not using anymore, you could always use it as an IP webcam. The quality will typically blow any consumer webcam out of the water.
Only downsides (to me at least) are that phones are usually quite a bit bigger than your standard webcam, and the mounting can sometimes be a bit finicky with the extra weight and making sure it gets plugged in so it remains powered on at all times.
thanks for using Leebra!
