Is the frame more expensive hardware? Can we make any sort of reasonable determination on frame price now that we know the gabecubes cost?

At announcement I was hoping $700, which I don't see happening. Are we still expecting index pricing or is that not happening?

... Well the quest 3 is $600. They can't be too far from that can they? I mean I'd pay $1000 on the frame before I gave meta $600, but most people don't have the same hate for meta that I do.

That would absolutely kill it, at least for me. $700-800 sold. 1k, harder to justify to the wife, but probably still getting it. 1500, well my rift-s is still pretty good I guess.

My wife recently had her knee replaced. After seeing her recovery, hopefully this is available before I need mine done. Otherwise, it's gonna have to hurt like hell non stop before I consider getting mine done.

Here's the animator's "reaction" video. I don't know anything about the process, so it was fun to see how he did it.

The artist did a reaction video and went through his process. It's real clay, scanned into 3d and animated in blender I think.

They also say 5 grams is over twice the normal rec dose. I've always known rec to be 3.5. 2.0 - 2.5 grams probably wouldn't even give more than minor visuals for most people.

I didn't see type of shroom, but I'm guessing cubes as they are the most common.

Figure I can work out stuff like quick sync easy enough. Main concern was spending $100 or so on the USB enclosure and hours setting it up just to have to go back to the more powerful PC.

Yes, but probably not correctly. That's pretty much when I called it a day and haven't tried to use it since.

Good to know. Storage space is expensive though and anything that's using the big drives can be downloaded again if needed. So plan was to use online backup for the stuff I can't lose like immich photos, actual budget etc and if a media drive crashes, I'll just redownload.

I don't think I did as that doesn't sound familiar. Something to look into. Thanks.

I remember putting something like that into the compose file, but didn't spend a lot of time trying to figure out why it didn't work.

Microsoft has been a fucking blight on gaming. Paid online, and timed exclusives both started there. No resale if we didn't throw a massive fit about it. Buying up studios to kill them. I mean Sony has their share of being fucks as well, but at least they're making good games. Microsoft has barely any decent games the last 2 generations, and hellblade 2 which is looking great was a Sony game that they had to buy and make exclusive.

Similar to a joke my dad told in the 90's

If Microsoft ever makes a product that doesn't suck, it'll be a vacuum cleaner.

Why not just switch your site redirects? Instead of x.com opening twitter.com make them go to x, and eventually stop the redirects and put a landing page on Twitter with a link to x.com. How do you expect people to stop calling it Twitter when that's literally the site name even if you type in x.com

The fucking USPS stamps the date on there. How is a hand written date that I could put whatever more valid than a government agency stamping when it was mailed? Fuck your voter suppression crap.

I also got this on my stand alone roku. And it's forced arbitration. Only way to opt out is by sending a written letter saying you don't agree. If I can be forced into an agreement with a click of the remote, opting out should be just as easy.

One is clearly a beheading. The other is just calling the guy an idiot. Sure, both political statements but in no way the same.

I had to check. x.com actually redirects to Twitter. Which makes Twitter correct. X must be the old name.

9am to 9pm 6 days a week. I've done similar in the US, but for a month or two due to staff shortage. Fuck that as a permanent schedule.
