Powershell is starting to become more common. But simple directory listing is actually much faster in cmd as Powershell treats everything as an object while cmd just dumps the contents as text.
Mpc-hc is a good alternative. It's a matter of preference
Not sure, but I always search for the movie Airplane and it's always in vain.
How do you do that though.. you have to scan every barcode and if you get chosen for a random check the shop employee will scan all codes again and you face the risk of being reported to the police for shoplifting.
Or does the US have some different system?
If the cable was shipped with the product, the consumer doesn't have to prove anything. Consumer seems to be from the EU and therefore in the first year of warranty there's a reversal of burden period where the seller can only reject the claim if they provide proof that there was no product defect with the cable from the start.
Ah ok, so that's likely the difference then. Here the display at the self scan machine randomly decides to halt and wait for an employee at the moment you want to pay. And the employee has to rescan everything in that case. If you clearly shoplift you are reported to the police and you will receive a fine of several hundred euros. I don't see how this can be seen as discrimination though, the machine doesn't have eyes or ears, it only knows the products you have scanned.
The will of those who have been brainwashed by social media to believe immigrants are the source of all their problems.
It's true that border control is important, but border control does not mean that you cannot seek asylum.
I understand the feedback because there's no need to distinguish between gender when you are talking about something as generic as personal empowerment. The post is not about girls, it's about human psychology.
To be honest I don't see the issue when we are staying within the scope of this news article. The news is about a speed offset setting that the driver can set beyond the speed limit. How is that worse than the right foot of the driver in a normal car that can reach speeds close to 200 km/h.
Personally, I find myself using the Chinese alternatives more and more as they are just way cheaper.
It is unfortunately a predictable outcome.
A more effective campaign would be: "stop buying games that require an online connection".
25 years ago we already had games that could be played offline, on a local LAN, on user maintained internet servers and so on. There is no technical reason for modern games not to support such a mode.
Nice input for their AI generative models...
Here in West Europe (differs per country):
France should just ignore this and apply the taxes anyway. The orange bully doesn't know how to legally implement tariffs and he is way too busy trying to stay out of the Epstein controversy anyway.
Usable addition, and the fact that it is only in-browser is actually a merit in some cases. Firefox gets a lot of hate but is way more privacy centric out of the box compared to Chrome. AI is only opt-in and you can literally customize the entire browser using about:config. Mozilla also maintains the only real competing web engine (not considering Apple's locked in ecosystem) and they are the reason browsers are open source these days.
Same in the Netherlands. There's still a long way to go
First cheap Chinese DRAM, next hopefully cheap Chinese GPUs. The arrogance of big US and Taiwanese tech companies pays off for consumers in the end.
The only improvement I notice is the search. But to be honest that feature couldn't get any worse anyway.
There's always an optimal point between demand and price. Ignoring part of your customer base is a risky strategy. The gap will almost certainly be filled by competitors, such as the upcoming Chinese semiconductor industry.
thanks for using Leebra!
