There's a grand total of 2 kanji in that sentence, the rest is a mix of hiragana and katakana, what are you on about

That's honestly what I would do if I could retire early, just go back to uni to study something that catches my fancy

Except when he responsibly disclosed to AMD, they closed the ticket as "out of scope" without any further communication. He then made a blog post about it warning other users about the vulnerability since ostensibly, AMD didn't want to fix it. Only after that post had gone viral AMD suddenly came back saying that despite the ticket being closed as such, their internal security team was still analysing it and he should've somehow known that and that he violated the TOC of the bug bounty program (remember, after saying that the vulnerability was out of scope of the program). Additionally AMD then changes those terms a month after the initial ticket to suddenly say that even if the ticket is refused, you're still not allowed to talk about it. Then to top it off they take a month longer to fix it then is industry standard, don't disclose the fix to the researcher as is customary until a few days before release and only because he kept badgering them and as the cherry don't tell their users that the only way to securely fix this is by uninstalling and reinstalling. Everything about it is scummy behaviour all around.

Moore's law has been dead for more than a decade by now

I can heartily recommend hollow knight, I've spent many an hour playing that game, it has enormous depth and lore and the art-style is really unique :)

Niri + dank material shell over here. I absolutely love the infinite horizontal desktop

Do the democrats have something to run on? I agree on voting blue across the board but you can't really pretend that there's been anything inspiring coming out of the DNC in the past few years. Their entire platform is reduced to "we're not Trump" and that's hardly an inspiring message

Check out Davx5, that's what I used to pull contacts and calendar

Interior China town is tangentially related. Not super hero world but procedural police show world and it follows people not part of the cast

Hundreds? Last count is around 49k people

I actually thought it's advised against isolating drinking water hot water pipes because of legionnaires disease. If the water in the pipes doesn't cool down fast enough but stays stagnant and warm for prolonged periods of time, you risk growing the bacteria

I got it from f-droid, but you could pull it from github as well

That's the main adjustment I made actually, I rearranged all the symbols to be more to my liking ^^

Congrats on making it to 3years! Found a great home here after my previous instance shut down

How that whole "it's not gambling it's something with all the exact properties of gambling just with a different name" flies in the US is something I'll never understand

Take a look at the fiio echo nano, might be right up your alley. ~50-60€ DAC, 3.5mm audio jack, small form factor, retro look

Indeed and the DNC bend over backwards to make sure they get as little visibility as possible. Instead of learning from the success of "socialist" candidates - which really are barely left of center by European norms - they persist in trying to chase this mythical idea of the American centrist... So instead of trying to appeal to the left with actual policy, they try to pander to moderate republicans

I run a small variant of Arno's engram on my Kyria v3 and I can heartily recommend it. After a few weeks adjustment period this feels way more natural to type on

I once knew a guy called Wayne Triest, which translates to "cry sad" in Dutch

I've had old double glass shatter as well after putting them on the inside. Best to just always put them outside.
