Aur is completely user controlled, it is not official and not trusted. Someone just decided to use those names and upload something.

But who is running the bitwarden server? Bitwarden the private company.

I self host vault warden, but it's really not something everyone can do.

This is great:

What if my experimental protocol is approaching the 3 month removal period but I am missing ACKs due to reviewer inactivity?

Contributors engaging in good faith protocol development should not be penalized due to reviewer inactivity. It is advised that experimental protocol authors post memes to the base MR until reviewers become active.

What if an experimental protocol author posts memes to the MR for many months rather than furthering development?

It is expected that protocol authors are seriously attempting to reach staging/ status. If it is determined by members that this is not the case for a given experimental protocol after a three month period has elapsed, the one week removal notice may be invoked regardless of how good the memes may be.

Wdym by that?

And have you read the Arch news entry about this?

What's wrong with nvidia-580xx-dkms?

By default, unencrypted, and unauthenticated, and permissions rely on IDs the client can fake.

May or may not be a problem in practice, one should think about their personal threat model.

Mine are read only and unauthenticated because they're just media files, but I did add unneeded encryption via ktls because it wasn't too hard to add (I already had a valid certificate to reuse)

You can still torrent without forwarding a port, for example by only making outgoing connections. But that may limit your speed, and figuring out forwarding should help.

You're posting this brief message a lot, so I googled it, and, no releases since October 2022? Only on f droid and is there really no way to pay other than PayPal donations? Am I looking at the right neo launcher?

Development isn't dead, but the lack of releases and fees (one time purchase, please) don't give me confidence.

Your stance rules out all the big and mature software. No judgement on the stance, but you are asking a difficult question.

Off that alternatives list, the only one I've heard of is lighttpd, and it's news to me that lighty can do reverse proxying. But I would try that.

I expect it to be a lot more difficult to find documentation and support for anything more obscure than lighty. Which may be fine for you, just know what you're getting in to.

As for certbot, iirc you need to add a renew command to cron, but otherwise certbot will take care of it. I'm sure the cron is in the documentation.

I have a bug where I can't copy controller layouts nor screenshots to the clipboard.

Fixed not being able to use "Export Layout->Save New Layout" when using a "Sharable Personal Layout".

That's close, but I don't know what a shareable personal input is. I'll have to check it out when I get the update.

The client has the private key, the server has the corresponding public key in its authorized keys file.

The server is vulnerable to the private key getting stolen from the client.

Source: https://blogs.kde.org/...

I'd rather see the original source, not a repost that doesn't add any substance. Phoronix does some good original work but I don't think stuff like this where they just add fluff is useful.

It was posted from mastodon. That's also why it sounds like a completely random tweet and doesn't fit in with lent Lemmy.

Sure, here's a standard unengineered MC/pulse setup: https://s.orbis.zone/mwdc

Change the small pulses to gimbaled if you have trouble aiming fixed weapons (don't make the medium pulses fixed, their convergence is too bad).

If you're going to add a scoop/ADC/SCA, replace some HRPs (the smaller the better).

Watch the power: one of the SCBs is off for a reason. If you end up needing it, turn an empty SCB off then then the off one on.

Use the DNS challenge instead? You'll need a DNS provider with an API though

Good(?) news!

This is the only current result for Stellaris on https://browse.feddit.de/ (the other result is a local one with 1 sub). So.. hello?

I used to. It's really complicated and not big in the self hosted space.

I'd recommend the standard Prometheus, alert manager, and grafana stack instead. That's what I use now, and although yaml sure is something, at least there's tons of people to copy.

Reminds me of years ago I wanted to play Lush, the radio station from SomaFM.

Literally could not get anything but Rush. And I have zero Rush in my library.

Obligatory reminder that this comparison is versus vanilla wine, and gamers (steam) haven't been using vanilla wine for many years.

Versus esync or fsync, ntsync doesn't bring any particular performance benefit. But it may bring more consistent fps, and is actually supported in the kernel and now wine.

Just don't expect 100 more fps, or even 10.
