Without the power to organize and collectively act, via real in-person relationships with emotional investment, we become powerless via lack of true social skills and social anxieties. As has been demonstrated, polls have not been totally reliable. There’s a 60% CI the week prior to elections, and I would argue the reliability in more recent elections is dismal.

1/3 of the eligible voting population sat out the last election. That could’ve been enough to at least put one or two third-party candidates (progressives/leftists) in congress, depending on the jurisdiction.

The DSA isn’t a party and you get the choice of worse and slightly better, although they both suck. So I chose slightly better, although none of it may matter when the midterms hit.
