mixed but yes. the govt made an example of him and from the popular standpoint he was serving the people. he also helped GDPR so thats factored in. currently the police state is still winning.
@lemmy.zip
havent watched the shows but i heard their openings a lot. friends has that iconic opening song that reminds me of the good days.
seinfeld has that funk and feels like a proper laugh track kinda vibe.
ima say friends is worse cause of the fandom.
Maybe it's whatever grosses them out. A lot of unsanitary stuff is just prohibited out of safety. There's like hunter ethics guides for handling game.
It's interesting but to me it seems more of a health concern. Ironically we laugh when dogs dry hump people. Or when horses get turned on and all.
Learning visual mediums. There wasn't really any formula, just consistent training with multiple mediums. Mainly drawing and stylistic designs. There's a weird cliff because our tastes don't match our level and it's simultaneously changing. Still learning and that's what makes it worth while.
Always an overreach. Had a convo with teacher and they don't even have a plan if someone comes to school with a weapon. Instead they want mass surveillance and have everyone just report on each other.
They want to take the capitalist approach and not fix the current system.
The is pretty much the American version of Kriristallnacht. ICE should've spent 47 days reading history books. it's mind boggling how the more evidence we have, the more double downing any trump regime supporters do.
i like the perspective. the system favors the wealthy class and the U.S is just too big. if it were the size of nyc or texas, maybe. but the coordination required is impossible for the "rebellion". the U.S is becoming a straight up surveillance state and it'll be more difficult as time goes on.
So the US is now stuck with ICE agents everywhere until they get DOGEd out? No real freedom of movement anymore and I imagine these guys are worse than cops. I anticipate they'll make gangs out of themselves cause they're so large and unchecked
i can't think of any meaningful reform passed that has benefited a citizen. if it did, it's not enforced enough to be significant. cops have too much power and influence on the courts to ever face accountability. i watch civil rights lawyer and most of the time cops commit crime when it comes to money or avoiding accountability.
I think it's pulling the bandaid off. The US was already on its way to being the capitalist beast it is. Getting eyes on this is great and gives the chance for other countries to get more leverage.
And the folks that weren't planning on waking up got their call.
