I am, yes.

I’ve been building custom PCs for myself and my family/friends for the better part of 2 decades now. I know I can get a better deal on used parts to run a more powerful machine. But you know what means? I play tech support for my friends and family.

I’m buying this for myself but installing it where most people I know come walking through. Setting it up as a show piece to get people to ask about Linux and to ask about the PC. If this thing holds up as well as my Steam Deck with support, updates, and stability? I’ll go halves with all my gamer friends and relatives just to get them on a machine I won’t be called about because windows decided to release another borked update…

Obviously I have the exposable income to support this and am extremely lucky. I fully get why people are upset and think it’s a rip off tho.

I know you specified no need for explanation, but I’m in a sleep deprived state and feel the need to state several caveats. Heh.

Games I come back to over the years:

• Arx Fatalis
• super Mario World on Super Nintento
• The Legend of Zelda The Ocorina of Time
• Transistor by Super Giant
• Trine 4 The Nightmare Prince with Friends
• Reciever 2 if not

A Valley Without Wind 1 and 2. Not big. Not well known. But damn I love em!

Surprised to see this in the thread. Agreed it’s a fun game!

Got my email a bit over a week ago. Went through with the purchase and have my frame now (about 7 days to ship to me in the USA).

Still waiting on my email for the steam machine though lol. Must be the very last person on that list.

Receiver 2 in my opinion. Not exactly horror but I still have flashbacks from the activation Beep from kill drones. Mechanically tricky to learn though.

Top of my head.
