Tried a few coffees this year

3 years ago by yesterdayshero to c/coffee

This year I started making coffee at home a lot more than I have in the past, mainly due to investing in a new set up. Tried quite a lot of different roasters/beans which has been great. Have a few go to roasters now and a better idea of the beans/roasts I tend to prefer. Here's to 2024!

:( Looks like its only a good deal for the Candy. As it's a bundle of 4, and all the others are $14.50 regularly... I guess I could...

Roasters need to bring their taste profile language back down to earth. Few of them talk about acidity or body now, it's just lemonade sherbet this, plum jam that. I once read a pack whose last taste note was 'who even reads these things anyway'. A lot of them don't even bother with a roast date.
