New to kbin, have a couple of questions.

Hi as the title states, I'm a newcomer coming over from reddit. So questions:

Is there any way to minimize comments when viewing it in the tree form? So branches off of the top comment can be minimized?
I see that NSFW thumbnails are all censored. Is there a way to take that censor off?
Is there a way of searching threads within a magazine? If so, how? I don't want to ask questions that may have already been answered, or perhaps submit things that have already been submitted, etc.

You can install kbin enhancement script on your web browser for no. 1 and 2.
Firstly install one of Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, Greasemonkey on your web browser and then install the script.

I wish the search options can be available when you click the magnifying glass on the top right in the browser version.

This greasyfork script will add a hide button to collapse comments:

https://greasyfork.org/...

Kbin has a number of undocumented features that really improve your experience.

To search by tag, go to https://kbin.social/t/[Your tag here].

Example: https://kbin.social/t/reddit

To search by domain, go to https://kbin.social/d/[domain here]

Examples:
https://kbin.social/d/lemmy.world (all threads from the lemmy.world instance)
https://kbin.social/d/facebook.com (all threads coming from Facebook.com on the current instance)

Domain search also includes a block button, so you can block entire domains from appearing in your feed.

The kbin Enhancement Script is a TamperMonkey script that lets you collapse comments like on Reddit, and gives you more control over the NSFW thumbnails (and all thumbnails in general). If you're not on kbin.social (you, OP, are, but other people like me are on different instances) you've got to remember to add your instance name to the list of targeted sites.
