ditto. it feels relaxing and i feel connected to nature - especially when i'm watching flowers bloom.
Everyone born in 2000 is a minor for me. Cant get in my head that they are 20+ by now.
... when driving a long distance, I should not be able to ignore the large number of insect splatters on the windshield
Eh, it still works, why get a new one?
This was born of necessity for me. But now that I can afford a new laundry basket, why buy a new one if the old one is all busted? It still holds clothes… This holds even more true with electronics. I hate throwing things away if I am able to fix them, even if fixing a thing is not going to actually save money.
When I'm driving on my rural residential road and I make eye contact with an oncoming driver, I do the wave.
Oh, and i talk to myself when i'm alone. I tell my plant how cute the new baby leaf is, i sing make up songs about how i really want to drink a cup of tea while making tea, you name it; i do it all. I'm not even ashamed of it, it makes my day more...cheerful, somehow
I recently started reading paper SF books again, after a hiatus of a couple of decades. (Is the quality worse than before; i suddenly had a couple of dozen pages from my paperback in my hand)
Also, like @clamzz; i love nature and feeding the birds in my garden. There is a male dove that i've been handfeeding for about 8 years now. The birds know me and even ask for help if there is danger; i can chase off cats and sparrow hawks and they know it.
EDIT: i just found this community and completely overlooked that this thread is 2 months old...
thanks for using Leebra!

My old person trait is that I love staring at the garden and feeding the birds.
