Column: Bidenomics has been a boon for working class voters. Why don’t they give him credit?

Inflation is down sharply, employment is holding steady and GDP is growing. But Americans are still blaming Biden for a lousy recovery.

Because the average person isn't feeling an improvement when cost of living is up and wages are questionable. Wall Street bros doing ok isn't really representative of most people.

If the argument is that it could be worse well sure but that's not that glowing of an achievement. Not when trying to appeal to the general public.

If Congress wanted to give us better benefits, they could. This has nothing to do with the presidency. However, Biden is doing a good job with the usual overseas diplomacy.

Lower-income workers were the chief beneficiaries of Biden policies and the general economic environment in recent years. Those earning an average of $12.50 an hour recorded a gain of 6% after inflation from 2020 through 2022, Politico’s Victoria Guida reports.

This may seem like a paradox, but the better off people are the less likely they are to appreciate it. Meanwhile, Republicans have escalated their war on progress to keep people living in bitterness and resentment which blinds people to the reality of them being better off.
