You haven't proven anything, that last name coincidence is nothing. These are different last names. You're damaging an individual's reputation without any substantial evidence.

But I guess my question is - what does it matter insofar as using the software. It's open source and intended for distrubuted use. So, the creators intentions are a bit... Irrelevant - no?

Best to separate the art from the artist so to speak. Otherwise, should we not save lives with immoraly gained medical insights, and not appreciate civil rights gains from an adulterer?
