Ascent Of The Basement Dweller: Which Team Will Rebound In 2024?

Interesting article that is worth the read about which of the basement dweller teams of the 2023 season will be on the rebound. It's way to early considering we are only days post MLR championship and the offseason hasn't started yet. It is a good in depth analysis though.

I don't recall the source but I did see somewhere that Dallas had a three year plan to success. We certainly saw a huge turn from them this year with matches that were much closer than their record indicates. Several matches where they held a lead and simply couldn't hold onto it in the final 20. So I expect they'll have a much better season next year.

Chicago gave us a taste in the final 2 weeks of the season. Every expected them to hit above their expansion status given the number of players from LA and Austin who already had some time playing together.

Yeah I have to agree with the article on it's analysis of the Hounds this season. The team was either hitting home runs or they weren't. Our team cohesion got better but the hounds definitely relied on their raw talent more than anything this season. I will be super interested in what they do in the off season. I also agree that Dallas has the easiest and straightforward path to .500 or above next season.
