Las Cruces Bowling Alley and Austin Yoghurt Shop murders, two remarkably similar and horrific crimes.

The cases of the Las Cruces Bowling massacre and the Austin Yoghurt Shop Murders both occured within about a year of each other, were violent far in excess of a normal robbery and remain unsolved. That said, I'm hopeful one or both can be cracked (even if it's a deathbed confession).

Any thoughts on whether these were accidental escalation of a robbery or were full intended chaos from the start? Do you think justice can be still served now?

The close timeline is something ive not noticed before thats really interesting. Its always hard to see how a robbery can escalate to this degree and i do think that they did have more in mind than just theft am now reading through the links so thanks for my weekend reading.

Cool, Im glad it's got some relevance. The Yoghurt one is mind-blowing in regards to cruelty.
