I randomly got recommended Hipyo Tech on YouTube one day and since have been watching his videos. I haven't got a clue about mechanical keyboards, but I have strong tastes in terms of aesthetics. Long story short, I kept checking shit out and stumbled across a keyboard he hasn't reviewed yet and I think I'm in love. But I don't know if it's any good or is even Linux compatible. So… is the ATK V75X a decent purchase? Or does it suck?

The look I'm interested in, is the all matte black oka Gunmetal. I don't have the foggiest about the difference between the switches.

Keyboards can be very personal, and what you look for will be vastly different to other people. For example your example looks fucking awful to me. TKL all the way, as the arrow keys on a 75% are mashed in with the other keys so its like some sort of shitty laptop keyboard. My wife refuses to use one that's not full sized as she uses the ten keypad all the time for work.

But since you posted here I assume you care what other people think, so here is my opinion.

You've posted in UK mechanical keyboards and unfortunately this is not ISO, so the layout is missing keys.

If you have your heart set of 75%, them what about a Keychron?

Thank you so much. I hadn't even thought about the arrow keys. Now it's something else for me to consider. That keyboard you've linked isn't too bad at all. It's more expensive.

Plus £25 delivery. It's not bad looking though.

I didn't actually check whether the one you linked was wired, Bluetooth or both.

It's both. But it's Windows only, so the dream is officially dead.

Sorry, I missed that. Although how much does your original link charge for delivery? They claim to use DHL, and they also state you'll have to pay the import duty yourself, so it'll cost a margin more.
