Researchers have discovered that cilantro, bell pepper, and jalapeño plants can flourish when grown in recycled glass from discarded bottles.

Imagine if they didn't fully clean the glass out though

Or repurposed I guess? I mean it kind of makes sense, good stable structure, lyophobic so roots can easily grow around then be removed from medium, allows bigger root structure growth with less crowding
