How do vinyl records hold stereo sound?

The backwards compatibility achieved by clever "simple mechanics" is very cool!
Yup, love that channel.
Yes! Really enjoy the depths he goes to while still keeping the narrative interesting.
Not quite, interestingly enough. Take a gander at the linked video and it's explained very well.
Aw come on I know you’re trying to get views
Actually, that's not my video, and I have nothing really to do with it, other than finding it really interesting and worth a look. It explains really well how it developed and how it works and why it is the way it is. And while what you said is kinda right, it's not really right in another way, which is explained in the video.
Technology Connections is a favorite of mine! Thanks for posting this.
Yeah, it's good stuff. Thanks for setting up this community, looking forward to seeing other cool things.
The sound in a vinyl record is embossed into a V-shaped groove in which the stylus runs. The left channel is embossed on the left side of the V and the right on the tight hand side. Simples.

A place for discussion, videos, pictures, and other related content of retro and vintage technology of all kinds. Especially retro tech that is still in use today.
There are plenty of excellent communities for retro PCs so that content is better suited for those communities.
