Is there a way to pause the feed?

3 years ago by Valmond to c/asklemmy

Hello fellow Lemmyans !

To find new sub-lemmys I sometimes like to go flat out and select "ALL" and "NEW", but the posts are whirling by just too fast for me to even read them, and I also guess it puts a strain on the poor server, so is it some way to do the ALL+NEW dance but to stop/pause the updates?

Cheers!

It'll be fixed in the next version of Lemmy. It's a known issue.

you're not wasting bandwidth, this is something not everyone knows. The version is BE 0.18.0 btw, you can check for it in the footer of this page.

It's not the season two I wanted, but it will have to do.

I know what you mean. It's a crying shame we didn't get at least a few more seasons before it got killed
