I'm not sure that's the main issue to be honest, even though it is of course an issue. The car is just slow. I think they are already out of both championships pretty much. The car isn't fast enough to fight at the front, and there doesn't seem to be that much potential in it to unlock either from what Charles said after the race. They are way behind, and there isn't anything to suggest they'll be able to leapfrog the teams ahead in a development race this season. The play at this point is probably to just pack it up and switch focus to the new regulations. No use wasting money and invaluable wind tunnel time on a losing fight this year.
