Finally, after all these years, House MD can sleep soundly knowing it will never be Lupus again.
Just the undisputed GOAT doing GOAT things. I know he spends most of the games walking or standing and the whole team works their ass off to let him conserve energy, but man. Watching his second goal you just have to be amazed at the way he still is able to move at 39. One thing is scoring and passing and using technique and vision, we've seen that before with some aging legends like Totti and Zlatan. But Messi is different, has no right to be as explosive and agile as he still is at his age.
8 GB VRAM in the big 26 is a yikes from me.
Teotihuacan and the Maya did interact, although the exact nature of those interactions are unclear as yet. They actually recently uncovered a Teotihuacan altar in Tikal.
Let's be generous and assume this cultural interaction is what the artist intended to allude to.
Isn't Steam Deck pretty much 720p? That's a whole different kind of ask than a machine you plug into a TV - many of which will want 4k resolution. VRAM requirements really tend to balloon with resolution.
It's been a while since the latest Friendslop game, last summer was PEAK and I guess this is what people are doing this year.
Looks pretty fun, provided you actually have friends...
They didn't give us a reference point of their other games' launch times, but my first thought was this is a HDD gamer.
Very disappointing. This was supposed to be the inspirational jump-on point for girls to get into racing. And especially with Doriane Pin recently having some strong performances to show it's possible I was hoping for a couple of seasons of continuity at least.
There's a very old Swedish joke with a similar punchline, probably heard it the first time 20 years ago.
I'm starting to regret not getting one.
Can't you add non-Steam games to Steam?
Turns out the Sword of Damocles is not a parable about the precariousness of people in positions of power, it's just a first hand allegory of a neurodivergent person with a scheduled phonecall in the the afternoon.
Always look after yourself and your family first! Hope you're doing well and coping with the stress.
The app is in a great state so there's not really anything to worry about.
Ivory Coast have been great so far. Really hope they see it through.
Early cigarette ads were fond of touting the health benefits of smoking, so this presumably attempts to subvert that by framing it as something to purely enjoy.
Sony wants to remake/remaster/do something with Bloodborne. They're not holding it hostage, in fact they were ready to approve a Bluepoint remake. It's Miyazaki who refuses to let it happen. Bloodborne is dear to him and he doesn't want anyone else to touch it. But he also doesn't want to do anything with it himself at the moment. And so the status quo just keeps on.
For once, this is a point where corpo greed is not to be blamed. Which is odd, I know.
The whole "fairness" angle is meaningless. It's already a big advantage to just play in normal temperatures compared to temps that would require a hydration break. Nobody would rather play in 30°C or more but with hydration breaks than a nice cool 20°C but with no breaks. There is no need to give "compensation" by making the breaks universal. They're simply just ad breaks. If they're not guaranteed, they're much harder to sell. Now they can charge more for the guaranteed ad space. That's it.
Having seen a lot of the baseless claims of people "solving" the Voynich Manuscript over the years (which all invariably turn out to not actually be solutions in the end) this did decidedly have a whiff of those.
Would be an absolutely incredible find, but I will for sure await a peer reviewed paper before I start jumping around in excitement.
I'd probably delete Ninja Blade. It's proper alternate timeline stuff - it was released within weeks of Demon Souls, but instead of being an inventive and groundbreaking new thing it is the most derivative amalgamation of CAG gameplay, blockbuster cutscenes, QTEs and brown-grey mid 00s graphics you can imagine. It's very easy to see why one failed and the other succeeded, but it's fun to imagine the alternative timeline where Ninja Blade was a smash hit, FromSoft are a notorious CAG developer now and Soulslikes don't exist. Well, maybe calling a timeline without Soulslikes "fun" in this community is flirting with danger but it is certainly interesting to think about.
EDIT: Also, DS1 has a map that's an absolute work of art. Genre defining and still the yardstick we compare every Soulslike to. If a new game has interconnected levels we say "it has a little bit of DS1-style..." etc. Exploring something like DS1 again is the high so many of us (I am one) keep chasing by playing this genre. Deleting that over other entries is crazy talk.
Probably won't be playing much of anything this weekend. The World Cup has been eating into my gaming time and I've also been otherwise distracted and not in the right headspace, really. I did play an hour of Lost Odyssey yesterday, but that's been the grand total of my gaming this week.
thanks for using Leebra!
