I was thinking about this the day the NG video came out lol it really was crazy timing.
Most normal reaction to water-cooling your PC.
Yep, I did it once in the late 00s. That was enough. After years it developed an incredibly small leak that I didn't notice until it ruined the GPU and motherboard. I found it when I rebooted one day and it didn't come back up. All in ones seem a lot better. I've had one of those for ~7 years without an issue.
Honestly it's still an absolute pain in the ass but it's come a very long time since those dark ages.
For my last build I bit the bullet and got a leakshield from aquacomputer. It keeps negative pressure in the loop so if there is a leak, it sucks air back into the tubing instead of letting water out. It works like a charm, it's just too damn expensive to recommend for non-workatation rigs.
But I can pull 1000w from the wall and still have my system under 30db, so that's nice.
He's having visions. That's his work as Chief Vision Officer of Linus Media Group.

I've always wondered if Linus was a normal guy or if he's like Ellen behind the scenes.
