Having a full keyboard was everything. 0-9 for velocity, H for hyperwarp, S for shields, etc.
And thanks for the pic. You gave me some great titles for future HowGenXAreYou retro gaming polls. I completely forgot about Berzerk!

Yep. I'm gonna nail all of these. I'm the leading edge of GenX: my dad was born nine months after VE Day. Don't get much Boomer-er than that.
I was born when he was 20. So not many are going before me in the Big Registry of GenX People.

@TechBean@mstdn.social this has sent me down a lovely rabbit hole. In the very early 80's, Kokomo had a restaurant called "The Pipe Dream." It served pizza and ice cream and was decorated in old time movie posters. In the center was a Wurlitzer, with a live organist who took requests nightly. In the back was a dark arcade, with Centipede, Pac-Man (and Ms), Donkey Kong, Space Invaders. We were thrilled to go anytime my folks suggested it. I got my initials on Centipede and was so proud ❤️
