I have lgbt friends in corbin/barbourville :( It's awful. I'm glad I moved out of Kentucky, even if it was to West Virginia. At least I moved into a gay friendly-ish town for work. I absolutely love the Appalachia area, but I fucking hate the people and politics here. :(

They are an American terrorist organization that is responsible for over 6,500 African American deaths historically. They finally lost power after the government stepped in to stop them back in the 1960s to 1970s. They still maintain a presence in some places in the USA. Just a few years back I saw recruitment flyers for them in a town I was in.
