Quite common tbh, and usually not a problem, since fedi is dominated by Europeans rather than Americans, so every place is like a generic international meeting point. But the more easily the post is seen as generic international, the more it signals as international space so it's the luck of the timezone lol.

Some Singaporeans think Malaysia and Thailand are both some kind of war zone or what. Iâve actually met Singaporeans that just wouldnât stop shitting on Malaysia phrasing it as if crime happens everyday to everyone.
The ânewsâ site as well is phrasing it as if itâs a Bugatti Chiron driven through some uncivilised third world.
No idea how this is newsworthy even. Some more itâs a diesel Maserati so is it really a real Maserati?
