This rare tree kangaroo was missing for 90 years

A rare marsupial, the Wondiwoi tree kangaroo, has been found alive in New Guinea. This species was last seen nearly 90 years ago. An expedition in 2018 captured photographic evidence. The animal lives in the dense rainforest canopy. This rediscovery highlights the importance of protecting remote habitats. It brings hope for other potentially undiscovered or endangered species.

Pretty self explanatory. Post animals, post pets, post stuff about animals and pets!
