3 years ago by Hyrulian to c/giftofgaming

Giving away one copy Dusk for Steam (PC).

This excellent Boomer Shooter is one of my personal favorites and all you have to do to receive this key is join the community and comment on this post. I will pick a winner in 24hrs. Thanks for checking out this community!

Update: Due to the new status of the community, if no one responds to the post within 24hrs, I will wait an additional 24hrs and draw the winner then! :)

Cool community, in for the drawing 😃. Totally good with waiting for longer than 24hrs or some # of comments or something

Yeah haha I don't think I'll be taking it if I'm the only one who commented, feels a bit like cheating. When Lemmy 0.18 hits (I think tomorrow?) discoverability will be easier because the new feed won't be spammed by new posts, so I'm sure it'll be easier to reach out to a wider audience there.

Nice Idea for a community! First started playing games during half-life and unreal era so maybe the tail end of titles this is evoking. But the atmosphere also makes me want to revisit Painkiller.

I'll pass on the game, fps and my blood pressure don't get along, but thanks for creating this community! Commenting to create activity!

Thanks for stopping by! Maybe someone will give away something a little more casual and relaxing soon. Do you have Cities: Skylines? I was thinking about doing a giveaway for that, but I didn't know if folks would be interested since the second game comes out later this year.

I think there's never a bad time to pick up cities skylines, I thought I was done with city builders after sim cities society (or whatever that crap-pile was called) but I picked up cities skylines from a bundle and almost instantly rediscovered the city builder magic. My only dislike about cities skylines is the massive amount of dlc, and minimum amount of music packs (but there are plenty behind dlc walls!). I'll try to go 1:1 with you on the giveaways, I love the reason for this community.

Appreciate the sentiment chief! I've got a lot of Humble Bundle dupe keys to pass out, so if you can't match me no worries!

I'm just jealous of your d100! I need to get me one of those! You have an actual one or are you just using percentage dice?
