Also chatbots for Delta Chat/XMPP etc. really make RSS insanely convenient. My desktop webapp/backup mobile webapp option is a Misskey fork set up to spit out RSS feeds and Twitter Telegram Instagram Weibo etc etc. Which are of course simply chronological, really not a fan of most algorithms made by companies which are run by Wall St. lol, I think most of the social science theories generalizing the effects of technology off currently dominant western platforms are going to have to be thrown out tbqh. You just set the instance to private (it pisses people off) then federate w/ your main instance

Plus RSS stuff is really indispensable for torrenting and a variety of programming/automation/server projects. Anyways kill google and all that
