An opinion piece? Really? City budgets are public, it isn't even that hard to right a real journalist piece on it. But reading this opinion piece and seeing the publication, I now just assume that Calgary (like most other municipalities in Canada) have been getting less funding per year from their provinces and have been forced to make ends meet in other ways. So like most of the problems in Canada, I'm assuming this is a n issue created by provincial governments and this article is trying to refocus the blame elsewhere

National post is just publishing ball licking UCP bullshit. Calgary mayor rightfully calls out the provinces bullshit, and then all of the sudden the ol Conservative/Post Media circle jerk is going to be publishing this shit daily from now on.
