I'm conflicted, I've recently upgraded to the AMD mainboard in my Framework 13 (luckily right before ramageddon), but the new case, battery, screen, and input upgrades are super compelling. Having to get the new Intel mainboard with the LPCAMM2 memory and new frame to see the battery improvements is why I'm hesitating to pre-order. I don't know, maybe I'll wait for some benchmarks/reviews until I jump the gun. But I watched the livestream and I really applaud Framework for their company ethos and commitment to open hardware. I'm definitely picking up their keyboard/touchpad combo when that's up for pre-order.

Yeah I love my AMD FW 13 too. I'm not gonna upgrade right away, personally. Very compelling, but so is my current hardware. I'm probably gonna hang tight for awhile.

Maybe upgrade the touchpad if the price is right. The touchscreen is something I wished it had last year when I bought in, but unless mine breaks I can't justify the cost.

Yeah, that seems like a reasonable take. At the end of the day we really don't need these upgrades, they're just nice. Especially since it appears I was unaware of their questionable sponsorship recipients, so if anything more incentive for me to hold off on buying anything for a bit before I can dig into it.
