PC revival?

This was the issue:

That's an impressive fix, how did you diagnose it?

Added another pic, firstly I thought it had been a GPU or m.2 and maybe an issue with USB. This had been happening for months after rebuilding the PC, it would randomly shut down, not making it through full boot. After a second rebuild, this issue seemed to of stopped, but eventually started again, followed by rebuild after rebuild. Then I happened to notice the broken gate, and luckly I am using an AM4 motherboard which is old enough to have had leaked schematics and board-views. After that it was a case of bridging one bad component which was a 0ohm rissistor and installing a new gate

It works, jumped a missing pad and installed a new gate. I hate micro soldering.

Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde “oem” parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.
