Just tried looking up an aur package via the Site and both Paru and the Site gave me an 500 Internal Server Error :(
Anyone know by Chance when AUR will be back up again? >.>
or are there AUR Archives by Chance i can get stuff from for now while its down? O.o
Thanks for the Help ^^
Same.
DDoS on aur.archlinux.org and wiki.archlinux.org - We're currently being attacked
yep, same here.
you can also use the status page for verification: https://status.archlinux.org/
https://aur.archlinux.org/ gives me bad gateway and yay fails at accessing the AUR too. At https://status.archlinux.org/ the AUR is listed as operational, but maybe it takes time to update that tracker. Looks like another outage is happening, could be yet another DOS (denial of service) attack. I just hope its not a hack or anything serious like that.
I am not aware of any mirror, or "good" alternative. Maybe the Chaotic-AUR, but I never used it and am not very familiar with it. Not sure if its an complementary or an alternative to the AUR and no idea if its a good idea to use both.
AUR is up for me at the moment anyway.
The chaotic aur holds pre-built versions of many, but not all, aur packages. When you add it to your repository list, it will managed by pacman and take priority over the aur. You can use both safely.
Thanks for explanation. Also the AUR is back for me too. Maybe a non issue after all. Got a bit paranoid...

Despite the DDOS they still have better uptime than GitHub.
