I don't know how to see deleted comments but I said something like "is there a link here I'm just not seeing? This is a screenshot of a reddit post"
After looking at their profile I see that OP, the only mod, is a very pro-russia. Go figure lol
I don't actually care that I'm banned from a reddit repost community but I thought it was funny that it was the result of asking for a source
People fleeing the horrors of war is a reality in every war. Here is a story from 2023 about Ukrainians fleeing to Romania. Having said that, the post in that community doesnât seem to be about news â suppressed or otherwise â but propaganda.
We wouldn't have to flee the war if russia didn't start it, so there's that

Have no idea why they've decided to ban you for valid question. Posting a few links could be the best responce.
That mod is a Russian apologist.
I just blocked them. Just another community I will skip. If they generate something worth seeing I will pick it up elsewhere. I doubt I will see anything useful there. Looks like a shill machine.
There many things about Frank Sinatra that were shady. It isn't suppressed news its just all history at this point. Few cared at the time and even fewer care now.

This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
All posts should follow this basic structure:
Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.
Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.
YPTB matrix channel: For real-time discussions about bastards or to appeal mod actions in YPTB itself.
