Yeah, I nabbed it too. Tried getting the US version but turns out the EU store is the one that'll ship to Aus. Always an awkward question about where's "Australia" in international logistics.
Keen for the records. Will go well with my one for Zero. Super keen to get an English copy of Aces at War though. Those are always real thin on the ground.
From what I've seen with Nintendo stuff at least, Australia tends to get lumped in with European/UK English releases most of the time (for region locks, game version differences, localisation, etc.). As far as I know, it's because a lot of the standards for broadcasting and other media items historically were pretty close to the UK (e.g. PAL video formats), meaning everything was set up for European versions to come to Australia.
Yeah, that's absolutely it but sometimes we get lumped woth the states due to relative logistic proximity and other cultral things. Bit of a weird mix. Don't even ask about our tablespoon measurement.

It's finally happening! It's been 15 years (okay maybe more like 6 months).
Strange thing I noticed though, no Europe pre orders for the Joker Pack (the deluxe edition with Aces at War and vinyl records) just yet. Hopefully it comes up soon.
EDIT: It's become available for pre order in Europe now here. Pricey, but I'm going for it anyway.
